CEB participation in the 2nd Eastern Partnership Business Forum: “Business Without Borders”

VILNIUS - CEB Governor Rolf Wenzel attended, accompanied by Vice-Governor Mikolaj
Dowgielewicz, the 2nd Eastern Partnership Business Forum. Governor
Wenzel participated together with Ministers from Eastern Europe in a round table
debate. He explained the role of CEB in supporting member countries to strengthen
trade and growth as well as jobs. He underlined that cooperation across borders
provides benefits for all partners, and highlighted the critical role of IFIs
in this endeavour. In this context, he also noted the need for close
cooperation among IFIs.
This Eastern Partnership Business Forum brings together key representatives of the business community and government. This second edition of this forum was hosted by Lithuania that currently hold the Presidency of the EU Council and was organised jointly by the EIB and the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists.
