Scam alert

Fraudulent scam e-mails, letters or faxes using the name of the CEB

The CEB would like to bring to the attention of the general public that scam e-mails, letters or faxes are circulating, notably using the CEB logo and/or bearing the forged (more or less skilfully) signature of CEB staff members, and which may therefore appear to be CEB correspondence.

Such e-mails, letters or faxes do not originate from CEB and typically carry false CEB contact e-mail addresses or telephone numbers, as well as fake documents, as the case may be.

The CEB recommends that recipients of such scams do not respond, to the extent that the purpose of these schemes may be to obtain their personal and banking details.

The CEB declines all responsibility for any loss which may result from these scams and warns the public to be very wary of these and other similar solicitations that falsely claim to originate from, or make reference to, the CEB.
