Energy Efficiency in Central Government Buildings

This grant supports the implementation of a €40 million loan to Serbia that will finance energy efficient renovations of approximately twenty-eight central government buildings in Belgrade. The project will result in energy performance improvements and fire safety and accessibility upgrades. It will thus help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and contribute to climate change mitigation in line with the targets set by the country in its Energy Efficiency Strategy.

Specifically, the grant will finance the activities of the project implementation unit. 

The project benefits from additional  SIGA and SCA grants.
