Green Social Investment Fund (GSIF)

The Green Social Investment Fund (GSIF) was set up by the CEB in 2020 to help its member countries accelerate their transition towards low carbon and climate resilient economies. Specifically, the GSIF will scale up the de-carbonisation and climate proofing of social infrastructure and make climate action measures more affordable and accessible to vulnerable groups. 

It has received € 5 million in seed financing from the CEB and almost € 80 000 from the Czech Republic.
