Trust funds and projects
Trust funds financed by CEB member states
The Bank’s member states generally provide funding for a purpose rather than a project. The Bank holds these contributions in trust funds and uses them to support projects in line with that purpose. The trust funds financed mainly or entirely by member states are:
- Disaster Prevention and Recovery Fund (DPRF)
- Green Social Investment Fund (GSIF)
- Italian Fund for Innovative Projects (IFIP)
- Migrant and Refugee Fund (MRF)
- Slovak Inclusive Growth Account (SIGA)
- Social Dividend Account (SDA)
- Spanish Social Cohesion Account (SCA)
- Ukraine Solidarity Fund (USF)
Projects funded by the European Union
In contrast, the European Union provides funding mainly for a project rather than a purpose. The Bank also holds these contributions in trust funds and uses them to support that specific project. The projects financed mainly or entirely by the European Union are:
- Regional Housing Programme (RHP)
- Eastern Europe Energy Efficiency and Environment Partnership (E5P) project
- EU Facility for Refugees in Türkiye (FRiT) projects
- Housing and Empowerment of Roma project (HERO)
- Partnerships and Financing for Migrant Inclusion (PAFMI)
- InvestEU Advisory Hub
- Western Balkans Investment Framework (WBIF) projects
