Support to the Greek Government in its effort to provide adequate medical assistance to those affected by COVID-19 and rapidly address the health emergency situation caused by the virus outbreak in the country.
This €200 million Public sector Financing Facility will part-finance medical and pharmaceutical supplies, specialised equipment, the provision of care services as well as additional medical and auxiliary staff. Final beneficiaries will be the inhabitants of Greece, in particular persons infected by COVID-19, including the elderly, migrants and refugees, as well medical staff exposed to the virus.
