This EUR 70 million Project loan will part-finance sub-projects to upgrade and modernise the flood-prevention infrastructure in selected urban or peri-urban areas and to protect populations, infrastructure, environmental and cultural assets and other productive assets against severe flooding.
Final beneficiaries will be the inhabitants and visiting tourists living in high-risk flood zones of the urban and peri-urban areas of Attica, Central Macedonia and Peloponnese.
