A Public sector Financing Facility (PFF) to provide long-term financing for regional investments under the Žilina Self-Governing Region budget and co-financing of EU Funds to cover investments in healthcare, social care, education, regional mobility, culture, and public administration. The CEB loan will partially finance eligible investments in reconstruction of buildings and facilities in social care centres; reconstruction and improvements of educational and cultural facilities; and repair and maintenance of local roads, bridges and related facilities.

Final beneficiaries: Approximately 700 000 inhabitants of Žilina Self-Governing Region. Furthermore, some sub-projects will also benefit the inhabitants of neighbouring regions in the Slovak Republic, Czech Republic and Poland. In particular, vulnerable groups, such as the elderly, persons with disabilities, teachers, students, as well as patients and staff of healthcare and social care facilities.
