A Project loan is aimed at supporting the Borrower in upgrading the wastewater and stormwater treatment capacities of the Wattrelos plant and enhance the quality of life of residents. Specifically, in the most vulnerable municipalities. The CEB Loan will partially finance investments to increase the plant’s efficiency, its environmental performance, and climate resilience.
Final beneficiaries: Entire population of the Métropole Européenne de Lille area, with direct wastewater treatment improvements for approximately 275 000 residents served by the Wattrelos plant.
