MSME Jobs Protection and Climate Mitigation

This Programme loan will support the Borrower’s lending activities through lending to intermediary credit institutions (commercial banks) under an apex arrangement which will allow CEB to reach eligible MSMEs throughout Hungary. In particular, the loan will part-finance eligible investments under MFB’s Energy Efficiency Loan Programme which aims to: (a) improve the energy efficiency of existing buildings related to the activities of MSMEs; (b) increase the use and storage of renewable energy sources by MSMEs; and (c) support auxiliary activities, such as the energy-related upgrades to machinery.
