This project aims to create an international-level centre for Cypriot archaeology in Nicosia and a leading cultural institution dedicated to the development, care, study, presentation and interpretation of Cyprus’ rich archaeological heritage. The facility will feature a new museological approach with spacious exhibition rooms and modern technology applications, making it more accessible and inclusive. Specific attention will be given to sustainability, accessibility, and energy efficiency aspects of the building.
Final beneficiaries: inhabitants of Cyprus, in particular the school children and student population as well as those with special needs who will benefit from innovative and inclusive technologies, and the museum staff.
