Support to the Lithuanian Government in its efforts to slow the spread of the Covid-19 virus and to mitigate its effects by ensuring the continuity of basic services.
This additional request of €100 million, for an increase of LD 2035 (2020) to a total amount of €200 million, will part-finance the purchase of personal protective equipment, reagents, medical and other equipment and consumables, the increase in the capacity of remote learning and mobility, through the acquisition and lease of computers. Final beneficiaries will be the Lithuanian citizens, in particular, employees, healthcare workers, people seeking medical treatment, as well as pupils from socially disadvantaged families who will have access to remote learning.
