An additional loan request of €10 million for an increase of LD 1869 (2015) to a total amount of €59.5 million to part-finance the modernisation of local roads and transportation infrastructure, medical equipment purchases and the maintenance costs related to four hospitals and one healthcare centre in the region.
Final beneficiaries will be some 690 000 inhabitants of the Region of Žilina who will benefit from improved quality, reliability and accessibility of local road transportation infrastructure, a better access to and quality of healthcare services, and the sustainable use of natural resources, energy efficiency measures and active adaptation to climate change.
