This Public sector Financing Facility (PFF) aims to assist the Borrower in delivering a swift response to individuals and businesses severely impacted by the floods, and to ensure that affected populations and enterprises can rebuild without falling into long-term economic distress. The CEB loan will partially finance the different financial support measures, such as cash transfers, approved by the Borrower to families and businesses severely affected by the floods, including those who have lost their homes and have been relocated, namely: (1) direct aid to individuals affected by the floods to alleviate the loss of basic; (2) direct aid to individuals for temporary and (3) aid to businesses and the self-employed for economic.
