This €100 million Programme loan will part-finance the construction and modernisation of approximately 5 384 housing units with the aim to increase the offer of social and affordable housing in Berlin.
Final beneficiaries will be low-income persons and social housing beneficiaries as well as vulnerable population groups such as disabled persons, students, the elderly and migrants, residing in Berlin. Furthermore, low-income households will benefit from reduced energy costs and energy efficiency improvements in existing buildings.
