Support to the Croatian Government in its efforts to mitigate the spread and consequences of COVID-19, to safeguard the availability of medical services, to provide the necessary pharmaceutical products, medical supplies and protective equipment, as well as to support local authorities to compensate for lost non-tax revenues.
This €200 million Public sector Financing Facility will part-finance medical and pharmaceutical supplies, the financing of costs for temporary and extraordinary medical staff, loans to the Health Insurance Fund and to local authorities. Final beneficiaries will be the inhabitants of Croatia, in particular people in need of medical attention, as well as medical professionals treating patients across the country.
