This Project loan aims to support the Borrower improve its infrastructure by constructing a new academic and research building and by renovating two existing educational facilities. It concerns in particular the construction of a new facility for the Institute of Molecular and Cell Biology, the Institute of Technology, the Institute of Bioengineering, and the Institute of Pharmacy in Tartu. The project also foresees the renovation of the administrative and study building in Tartu, as well as of the University of Tartu Law School situated in Tallinn.
Final beneficiaries: The almost 15 000 current students, including those with special needs, as well as future students, and over 4 300 university staff.
