A Project loan to support the Borrower to improve the quality and access to secondary and tertiary health care services for vulnerable low-income households, and to reduce financial barriers to modern essential medical care across the country. The CEB loan will partially finance eligible investments related to the purchase of modern medical diagnostic and treatment equipment, as well as related infrastructure adaptation and implementation costs for six public hospitals in Gjakova, Gjilan, Mitrovica, Peja, Pristina and Prizren.

Final beneficiaries: Patients throughout Kosovo, in particular vulnerable low-income households who depend on public healthcare, as well as staff in healthcare institutions.
