Report on CEB and Donors 2019
Discover how the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB) and its donors collaborated in 2019 to foster a more inclusive and resilient Europe, as detailed in the Report on CEB and Donors 2019.
In 2019, the CEB allocated €54 million in grants, with significant contributions from the Slovak Republic, Switzerland and Germany. These funds supported initiatives for migrants, refugees, and displaced persons, The Regional Housing Programme (RHP), benefiting vulnerable populations in the Balkan region, with pledges from the EU, Norway and Spain.
Additionally, the CEB provided technical assistance for sustainable infrastructure projects in Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia, through funds like the Italian Fund for Innovative Projects and the Slovak Inclusive Growth Account. Donor support remains crucial, particularly in regions with limited institutional and technical capacities for social projects.
