SPAIN - Loan agreement between CEB and the Autonomous Community of Castilla y León for environmental investments

PARIS - CEB Vice-Governor Apolonio Ruiz-Ligero and the Regional Minister of Finance of Castilla y León, María Pilar del Olmo Moro, signed a Framework Loan Agreement worth EUR 100 million.

Under this loan, the investments in water infrastructure will help improve the quality and reliability of drinking-water supply systems, strengthen infrastructure, connect isolated communities and diminish environmental contamination.

The investments in fire prevention will support investments to prevent wildfire and measures to stop fire extension, including equipment, civil works and signalisation.

The project will bring multiple environmental and social benefits for local populations.
