Municipal investments comprising the construction of new structures as well as the restoration, renovation or extension of existing facilities to the benefit of city population, with focus on young people.

An additional loan request for an amount of EUR 60 million for an increase of LD 1903 (2016) to a total amount of EUR 120 million, corresponding to 40% of the total project cost, in the sectors of Education and vocational training and Improving living conditions in urban and rural areas will part-finance municipal infrastructure investments under its strategy ‘Tampere, working together for a bright future’. Final beneficiaries are wide range of the local population (day-care children, pupils, personnel and healthcare centre patients, young families, participants of cultural events and library users, senior citizens and those practising sports), including those with a foreign cultural background, who will benefit from improved facilities and better access to services. An extension of the Closing Date until 31 March 2021 is also requested.
