An additional request for an amount of €100 million for an increase of LD 2035 (2020) to a total amount of €200 million to part-finance the purchase of personal protective equipment, reagents, medical and other equipment and consumables, as well as the increase in the capacity of remote learning and mobility, through the acquisition and lease of computers, in order to support the Lithuanian Government to cope with the challenges posed by COVID-19 and tackle its economic consequences.

Final beneficiaries will be the inhabitants of Lithuania, in particular medical staff, people seeking medical treatment, vulnerable families and households and staff involved in COVID-19 concerned sectors. In addition, pupils from socially disadvantaged families will also benefit from continuity of education services during the emergency.
