Support to the region of Catalonia in its efforts to increase the supply of social housing units in the region. The loan will partially finance the acquisition of housing units for social rent, as well as the construction of social housing units.
Final beneficiaries: citizens of the region of Catalonia who cannot afford to pay market rental prices and are registered in the Catalonia Public Register for social housing seekers. In particular, socially vulnerable groups such as the homeless or gender violence victims and unemployed people, will benefit from an increased offer of affordable rental housing and reduced energy costs.
