This EUR 100 million Project loan will part-finance investments under two components: partial renewal of the drinking water distribution network and the construction of a low pressure reverse osmosis membrane (LPROM) treatment unit. Final beneficiaries will be the inhabitants of municipalities in the Ile-de-France region who will benefit from improvements in the quality of drinking water and its distribution. The region as a whole, and end users, will benefit from the preservation of drinking water resources as well as reductions in energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions.
