Please note that the calls for tender published below only concern procurement carried out by CEB for its own account. Procurement carried out by CEB borrowers will not be advertised on the Bank’s website but either locally (in the Borrower’s country) or in the Official Journal of the European Union, in line with the Guidelines for the Procurement of Supplies, Works and Services.

Procurement by borrowers

The Guidelines for procurement of goods works and services for projects financed by the CEB detail the principles and methods to be applied when awarding contracts to be financed by CEB loans. Implementing them ensures that funds are used solely for purposes covered by the loan and that special emphasis is placed on the economic and efficient implementation of the projects it finances. It is recognised that fairness and transparency of public spending are essential to sound governance and sustainability of projects.

Procurement by the CEB

The purchase of supplies, works or services by the CEB for its own operational needs is governed by the Guidelines for the procurement of Services, Goods and Works for the CEB's own account.
