Launch of a French National Hub for Social, Intermediate and Sustainable Housing
A strategic cooperation between the French State, Caisse des Dépôts, the Union sociale pour l’Habitat (USH), the European Investment Bank (EIB) and the Council of Europe Development Bank (CEB), supported by the European Commission, to accelerate housing delivery in the social housing and accommodation sectors, as well as intermediate housing.
CEB issues inaugural GBP 300mn 3-year SONIA Floating Rate Note Benchmark
The new issue represents CEB’s first SONIA FRN transaction and second GBP issuance in 2026, following a successful GBP 750 million 3-year Social Inclusion Fixed Rate Benchmark priced on 5 January.
North Macedonia receives €250 000 grant for higher education from the CEB’s Spanish Social Cohesion Account
The grant will provide targeted technical assistance to help prepare and launch an investment project in favour of the Ss. Cyril and Methodius University (UKIM) in Skopje, the largest public university in North Macedonia.
CEB and Rivas City Council sign €40 million loan for metro line urban development project
The project will create a 2.5-kilometre-long and 30-metre-wide green corridor for the metro where it passes through Rivas.
